Senior Citizens Day at Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School on Thurs, Mar. 26

SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ -- The Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School Student Government Association will host its annual Senior Citizens Day on Thursday, March 26, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The event will include a complimentary breakfast and will be filled with fun activities including “Name that Tune” run by student volunteers, and fantastic performances by groups including Irish step dancers, the stars of SPFHS's production of Grease, and the award-winning Moonglowers jazz band.

SPFHS students seem to get back as much as they give:

  • "I like giving back to the community and putting a smile on other peoples' faces because when others are happy I'm happy."
  • "I feel very connected to them."
  • "It's fun watching them have fun."

The day will end with a catered lunch.
