SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -- The Township of Scotch Plains will be holding a remembrance service on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 7:00 pm at the 9/11 Monument in the Alan Augustine Village Green (next to the Municipal Building on Park Ave. in downtown Scotch Plains).

Mayor Kevin Glover will introduce the program. Pastor Carletta Aston of the First United Methodist Church of Scotch Plains will lead with a prayer, and Cantor Matt Axelrod of Congregation Beth Israel (CBI) of Scotch Plains will sing a patriotic song during the brief ceremony.  The public is invited.
