SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ -- Seventh graders at Park Middle School presented the results of their independent service-learning projects to parents and other visitors on Friday, May 20.

This students were asked to identify a community issue of interest to them, research it, and implement an action plan to address the issue. The seventh graders helped senior citizens learn technology, educated peers on concussions and the dangers of distracted driving and advocated for a $15 minimum wage.
