FANWOOD, NJ -- With bagpipers, step dancers, and rock bands, Sheelen's Crossing in Fanwood celebrated its grand open under perfect November afternoon.

Mayor Colleen Mahr, Assemblyman Jon Bramnick (R-21), and Gene Jannotti, executive director of the Greater Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce (GWACC) joined owners Sean Flannery and Frank Pascale in cutting the ribbon and commencing the giant "bridge party."

The opening of the pub/bistro means that the borough is no longer a "dry town."
