SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ -- The 4th Grade SPF-PAL Raiders travel basketball team won the 7th annual Warren Tournament defeating the Summit Hilltoppers 47-37 in the Championship game on Saturday, Dec. 3, at Mt. Horeb Gym in Warren.

"It was a great weekend of basketball for the boys, Warren did an excellent job hosting the tournament for the coaches, players and spectators," said Coach Chris Bates. "The boys had a fun time, which is the goal in youth sports and to be able to cap it off with a victory in the tournament Championship game was a special day for the boys."

"They deserve all the credit for the execution and perseverance," Bates added. "Every player contributed to the team throughout the tournament and they were able to execute together as one team together to accomplish a team goal."
