SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ - During the month of December the Scotch Plains Public Library will feature Spotlight on Norman Rockwell in its gallery. This exhibit focuses on the man behind some of the most iconic paintings of 20th century Americana, featuring pieces on loan from the collection of Colonia resident Jack Cassidy.

Items on display will include signed images as well as collectibles, artifacts, and examples of Rockwell’s famous covers for the Saturday Evening Post. Cassidy began his collection around 1970. He purchased his first piece in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, where Rockwell lived and had his studio.

The exhibition will be on display at the library from December 1-30.  A reception will be held on Thursday, Dec. 7 at 7:00 p.m.
