WESTFIELD, NJ -- On Sunday, May 7, the Greater Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce will host their 23rd Annual Spring Fling Street Fair (rain or shine). Street fairs have been a signature for the chamber, matching up in size with many of the largest in New Jersey.

This year's event will highlight:

  • Outdoor Marketplace
  • KidZone with rides, games & activities
  • Bovella's Pie Eating Contest
  • Festival Food
  • Non-Stop Entertainment:
    • WHS Jazz Ensembles
    • NJ Workshop for the Arts
    • Rahway Music
    • Valencia Music
    • Hoi Polloi

Spring Fling will be followed by Garwood Rocks on June 4; a new entry called Summer Fan Jam in Fanwood on July 9; and FestiFall, back in Westfield, on Sept. 24. “These street fairs — featuring musicians and vendors — are not only a wonderful opportunity for local businesses to catch the attention of thousands of potential customers, but they also bring the community together,” Jannotti said.

Tickets can be purchased at the GWACC information booth at the intersection of Elm and E. Broad. Visit for more information.
