SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -- The Scotch Plains Public Library will welcome Paul Cirillo of AstronomyNJ on Monday, Sept. 26 at 7:00 p.m.,for a look back at the original Star Trek TV series, which premiered 50 years ago this month in 1966.

Cirillo will share intriguing facts about the show and the cast, including the impact it had on the scientists and explorers of today. After the presentation, there will be trivia and an opportunity for die-hard fans to share their Star Trek memories, experiences, and memorabilia.

This program is free and open to all interested participants, and registration is recommended via www.scotlib.org. The Scotch Plains Public Library is located at 1927 Bartle Ave., one block from Park Ave. in the center of town.
