SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -- STARS Theatre is a local children’s performing art group through the Scotch Plains Recreation Department.  It started eight years ago by two SPFHS juniors, and participation has continued to grow to over 100 children under the direction of Gailmarie Sprague.   

Featuring a summer stock group of children ages K – 8, the troupe presented Alice in Wonderland, Jr.  on July 11-12  and High School Musical on July 18-20 at the Alan Augustine Village Green, Park Ave, in downtown Scotch Plains.
