SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ -- The youth group of Willow Grove Presbyterian Church will present some positive ways to use technology to parents, grandparents, and friends. On Sunday, Jan. 18th at 11:30 a.m., the youth group will transform the fellowship hall into an “internet café” for teaching the basics of social media.

The youths will work in small groups to address several topics and will also be able to answer questions one-on-one. As a follow-up to last July’s session, the teen instructors will concentrate on teaching the ins and outs of Facebook and Google Plus for any age participant at any skill level.

Other types of social media can be addressed case-by-case. Attendees are invited to bring their devices and lots of questions. This is a free public program with no need to pre-register. Willow Grove Presbyterian Church offers Sunday worship service at 10:00 a.m. All facilities are handicapped accessible, and there is ample on-site parking.

The church is located at 1961 Raritan Rd. in Scotch Plains off of S. Martine Ave. (across from the Southside soccer field). For more information please call the church office at 908-232-5678 or visit www.willowgrovechurch.org.
