Temple Sholom to Host Chanukah Lego Night

SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ Temple Sholom announced that it will host a special Chanukah-themed version of its popular “Lego Night” on Thursday, Dec. 10 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at 1925 Lake Avenue in Scotch Plains.

“We’re pleased to be hosting this annual event again,” said Michael Barmak, Chairperson of Temple Sholom’s Membership Committee. “Hosting our Lego Night during this holiday provides us the opportunity to open our doors and invite the community into our home to join in the festivities."

Attending participants will be asked to put their imaginations to use by building some crazy creations while reveling in dreidel games and Chanukah music and songs, donuts, latkes and plenty of chocolate gelt. There will also be special drawings for Lego menorahs for participants.

Founded in 1913, Temple Sholom is a Reform Jewish congregation led by Rabbi Joel N. Abraham and Cantor Darcie Sharlein. The temple and its religious school are home to more than 250 families from the greater Scotch Plains-Fanwood area.
