To The Editor:
Once again thanks to the voters in Scotch Plains and supporters of Recreation.
It is due to their overwhelming support that this ordinance, which was a failure from its inception through its rapid execution, has now been disbanded in finality.
The clear lesson to council is listen to your constituents or they will find another legal remedy to be heard. This council was less than civil throughout the process, and their deceptive comments have left an indelible mark in the community.
Let's hope for a better relationship with the Township Manager through proper representation by the recreation leagues on the commission in the near future.
Thank you again to all that made the disbanding of this futile ordinance possible.
