Dear Residents of Fanwood:

While living and raising my children in Fanwood it can be easy to forget all the blessings we have.

This Thanksgiving, which is one of our most family oriented holidays, I want to ask that we all count our blessings and renew our commitment to give back to our community.

I would like to thank those who gave to our local food banks and shelters so that no one goes hungry or lonely this Thanksgiving. I find that small gestures of kindness are always well received and is what keeps us human.

I hope for a peaceful day for all and prayers for our veterans and all those currently serving our country either here in the United States or overseas.

Colleen Mahr
Mayor
