FANWOOD, NJ -- On March 25th, community members of all ages are invited to join us at the library for an exciting NJ Makers Day filled with STEAM activities and demonstrations. Snap circuits, Arduino, 3D-pens, Button and Pom-Pom Makers and the big blue blocks are just a part of our Makers Day events.
 
The Museum of Early Trades and Crafts will be back at the library with BOOKIN IT, Participants will learn the importance of books for all ages, and how books were originally made. They will make a variety of personal books, from original folios to creatively shaped books (registration is required for this program).
 
NJ Makers Day is a statewide event that celebrate and promotes the values associated with making, tinkering and STEAM-based learning. In 2016, NJ Makers Day drew over 40,000 individual attendees to more than 230 participating sites—makerspaces--across all 21 counties in the state.
