SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -- Eat local for a great cause.

On Saturday, Sept. 28, the Scotch Plains Farmers' Market, Scotch Plains Business and Professional Association, and the Township of Scotch Plains will once again host the "From Farm to Table" Benefit Dinner. The event will raise funds for Operation Chillout (Homeless Veterans Outreach), the Hometown Heroes of Scotch Plains & Fanwood, American Legion Post 209 in Scotch Plains, and other local beneficiaries.

From Farm to Table features delicious, locally grown food and live entertainment, and promises to again be a highlight of the fall season. It includes a five course meal artfully prepared by  local chef extraordinaire, Brian Kirpan, from BK Private Dining & Catering, and guest chef Ed McFarland of Ed's Lobster Bar NYC fame. Desserts will be created by The Dessert Ladies.

"It will be an evening to remember, for sure," says co-organizer Jeff Stein of Incentives USA™,which promotes the event. "Last year's event was spectacular, and this year's will be even better. And it's all for a great cause."
