SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -- Mayor Al Smith (left) and Matt Mercurio, Director of Parks & Recreation, mark the spots in front of the Shady Rest  at Scotch Hills Country Club where two dogwood trees will be planted in honor of Arbor Day.

The trees were donated by Union County’s Arbor Day Tree Planting Program.
