FANWOOD, NJ -- Thousands of Fanwood residents and visitors flocked to LaGrande Park for an afternoon of music, food, beverages, and activities for kids at the second annual Fanwood Summer FanJam.

Unforgettable Fire, which features hometown hero Craig Kiell who lives walking distance from LaGrande Park, headlined the show. Other performers included The Allan Grant Band, Zero Hour, Bryan Hansen Band, Groove Gangstas, and AC/DC tribute band Riff Raff.

The event also included a classic car show, food vendors of many different types, and an afternoon of music under sunny skies and seasonal temperatures.

"This is a great turnout," said Greater Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce executive director Gene Jannotti. "It's laid out much better this year; the food vendors are spread throughout the park and it's nice (the weather) so people can walk around."

"I'm so proud of Craig (Kiell) as a Fanwood resident to play before his neighbors," said Fanwood Mayor Colleen Mahr. "This is another huge success. We will soon begin planning for next year's event. It will just keep getting bigger."
