SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -- The Union Catholic Performing Arts Company will present its fifth annual Cabaret Night on Friday, Jan. 10, 2020, when past and present stars will share the UC stage in one of the most exciting events of the school year.
Cabaret Night, directed by Mr. Edward Sagendorf and Mrs. Maryann Carolan and produced by Mr. John Rotondo, is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. in the Union Catholic auditorium and a reception will follow in the cafeteria.
Tickets for the show cost $15 ($10 for students and seniors). The reception, which will serve beer, wine, and hors d'oeuvres, costs $15 and is open to adults only. No students are permitted at the reception.
Mr. Rotondo said Cabaret Night is one of the biggest highlights of the school year for UCPAC.
"Now in its fifth year, Cabaret Night has become one of the highlights of the year for the Performing Arts Company,'' said Mr. Rotondo. "This year we have created even more group numbers, giving our current students the opportunity to work with and be inspired by our returning alums. We are also continuing the tradition of honoring our past shows that are celebrating anniversaries. We will be featuring numbers from the shows that were performed 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 years ago. The outpouring of support from our alumni who are eager to return to their alma mater is overwhelming and really underscores what the UC Community is all about."
