Union County College President McMenamin Reelected to a National Higher Education Committee

CRANFORD - Union County College (UCC) President Margaret M. McMenamin was reelected to the American Association of Community College’s Presidents Academy Executive Committee. The AACC Board of Directors certified the election results last month.

This will be President McMenamin’s second three-year term as the Northern Region representative for this AACC committee. Her first term began on July 1, 2013, and in being reelected, she will continue on the Committee through June 30, 2019. The Presidents Academy Executive Committee advises the AACC president and AACC Board of Directors on professional development training for college presidents.

In addition to service on this national committee, President McMenamin is a Commissioner for the Middle States Association on Higher Education, the Chair of the Presidents’ Council of the New Jersey Council of County Colleges, and a Board Member for the National Junior College Athletic Association.
