SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ - The Scotch Plains Lions Club held their annual “All-You-Can-Eat” Pancake Breakfast at the Scotch Hills Country Club on Sunday, March 3 with assistance from Boy Scout Troop 104 and special guest Congressman Rush Holt.
The Congressman enjoyed a quick breakfast and then mingled with residents fielding questions and comments, before leaving to attend a local church.
Scout Leader Bill Sherman was justifiably proud of his Troup. “The boys in this troop have been helping the Lions serve breakfast for many years and over the past two years these boys have logged over 2,400 hours of community service.”
Over 200 breakfasts were serviced and a variety of baskets and gift items were raffled off to raise money for the various projects supported by the local Lions Club.
