SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -- Union County Board of Elections Administrator Nicole Dirado today announced a new location of the secure ballot drop-off box in Scotch Plains for the upcoming Nov. 3 General Election.
The drop-off box is now located at the Scotch Plains Public Library, 1927 Bartle Ave. It is among 15 that are currently open throughout Union County.
Dirado said her office plans on opening a total of 22 in upcoming weeks.
Boxes are under 24/7 camera surveillance and picked up on a daily basis by a bipartisan team of Union County Election Board employees.
