EDISON, NJ -- On Thursday and Friday, Feb. 1-2, the Model UN team from The Wardlaw+Hartridge School in Edison traveled to Bergen County Academies in Hackensack, NJ to participate in AMUN IXX. The school’s delegation of 13 went up against delegations of dozens. Wardlaw+Hartridge students represented several nations of the world - including, among others - Iran, Ukraine, Russia, and Yemen - on a half-dozen committees, and walked away with a remarkable seven awards!

Verbal commendations went to freshmen Pranay Arora of Edison, Neil Shah of Edison and Isabella Sena-Cash of Scotch Plains. Outstanding Delegate went to sophomore Camila Fang of Edison and junior Pooja Nandhyala of Edison and senior Simu Singh of Monroe earned Best Delegate recognition. And the team won Honorable Small Delegation.

Other W+H participants were senior Eduardo Martinez of Scotch Plains, juniors Dazlyn Erachshaw of Iselin and Kelly Lawrence of Scotch Plains, sophomore Ryan Brace of Scotch Plains and freshmen Aditya Pathak of Edison, Rihan Sajid of Carteret and Sydney Sweeney of Cranford.
