EDISON, NJ -- The Wardlaw+Hartridge School in Edison enjoyed 90 minutes of reading and fun at the inaugural Camp Read-A-Lot, a night to celebrate literacy and good books, on Tuesday, Dec. 12.

The school’s All Purpose Room was transformed into a camp site for children and parents to bring chairs and sleeping bags to read with the Lower School community. Silvia Davis of Metuchen, Lower School Head, welcomed several Lower School teachers as guest readers.

Campers received bookmarks and little flashlights and enjoyed the opportunity to be creative at crafting stations. They also enjoyed snacks and beverages provided by SAGE Dining Services.
