Wardlaw-Hartridge Fifth Graders Graduate at Moving Up Ceremony

EDISON, NJ -- The fifth graders at The Wardlaw-Hartridge School in Edison moved up to Middle School during the Fifth Grade Moving Up Ceremony on Tuesday, June 13. Students said farewell to Lower School with family, friends and faculty and staff members in attendance.

The program began with the processional to "Prince of Denmark's March" and a flag salute before everyone joined in the singing of “God Bless America.” Andrew Webster, Head of School, provided a welcome for the guests in attendance.

Maggie Granados, Assistant Head of School for Lower School, delivered remarks and introduced a video presentation, prepared by Erin Maciorowski, Lower School technology specialist. Mr. Webster, Mrs. Granados and Lower School teachers Ellen Ritz (fifth grade), Tim Head (fifth grade) and Ellen Colandrea (fourth grade) handled the presentation of certificates. The third and fourth grade then sang “For Just a Little While.”
