SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ – There were several Holiday Events in Scotch Plains over the weekend. The Scotch Plains Management Corporation sponsored a special Christmas event on Saturday, December 15 at b.i.g.g. playdate on East Second Street.

Lisa Schiller, owner of b.i.g.g., was very pleased with the results.  Live music, vendors giving samples of food, free hot chocolate and pictures with Santa were enjoyed by several hundred residents.

Autism Family Times with Brianna, Inc., a local activist group, sponsored a free holiday gift wrapping event at Forest Road Park in Fanwood.

“The wrapping was not be perfect, but people will have a story to tell about how the present was wrapped,” said Claudette Bardwil, President of Autism Family Times.  “This was a very important for the children and their mentors.”
