Come enjoy "The Mystery in Black History” on February 15 at 7 p.m. at the Westfield Memorial Library, an original production written by actress Lisa Fleming.

Fleming, portraying Marie Laveau, a free person of color and a Voodoo Queen, will take the audience on a Mardi Gras type parade including hints of jazz, so much a part of the roots of the New Orleans. We’ll learn about the birth of New Orleans, the Battle of 1811 revolt, the rich history of the French Quarter, Congo Square and the Treme Neighborhood.
