WESTFIELD, NJ — This week’s Sweet Sounds Downtown Music Festival has been moved to Wednesday night due to weather, the organizer announced.

Performances will be held in four locations throughout the downtown from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 14, Downtown Westfield Corporation said.

This week’s performances will include Mike Neer’s Steelonious (steel guitar) at 137 Central Ave., Kolor Blynd Band (R&B) on Quimby Street, Part-time Bodyguards (pop/rock cover band) at 170 Elm St. and High Strung Band (rock) at Foundation Park.

The weekly summer happening will continue every Tuesday night in August. Rain dates will be held on Wednesdays. For a complete schedule, click here.
