ROSELLE PARK, NJ -- Host Roselle Park defeated Scotch Plains-Fanwood by the narrowest of margins, 34-33, on Friday evening.

"We wrestled our best tonight. Everyone gave everything they could," said SPFHS Head Coach Marc Fabiano. "Mikey Ramos at 145 was a huge match. Losing 10-2 in the second period, he takes down the opponent and gets a pin. Incredible match and individual effort."

"Roselle Park is always a well coached team," Fabiano said of the opponents. "They wrestled hard, as well. Even though we lost, it really showed how much potential and the work ethic we have."

Having suffered unbearably under successive oppressive regimes, many of those political activists genuinely thought communism would be better ...
