SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ -- Despite having four top varsity wrestlers out with illnesses, Scotch Plains-Fanwood put on a dominating performance on Tuesday, Dec. 19, vs. Orange by a score of 66-10.

The Raiders were bolstered by pins fromm Michael Fleck, Jacob Perone, Bobby Root, Mikey Ramos, Alex Oslislo, Declan Cassidy, Sam Wustefeld, and crowd favorite Walter Thomas.

"Having four of our starters out and still having the majority of our team win by pins speaks to the depth of our team," said assistant coach Jesse Martinez in an interview with TAPintoSPF. "Being aggressive on offense and bringing what we have been working on in the wrestling room to this match led to the majority of our team winning with pins."
