WOODBRIDGE, NJ -- The home team No. 4 ranked Woodbridge Barrons upended Scotch Plains-Fanwood, 45-18 on Monday, Feb. 6.

Justin Sidebottom (132 lbs.) and Jack Cannon (145 lbs.), were victorious in their matches, preventing a sweep by Woodbridge. Two Raider wrestlers, Nino Natale (120 lbs.) and Matt Fleck (126 lbs.) won by forfeit.


  • 106 lbs: Xavier Laracuente, Woodbridge, won by a 9-0 major decision over Michael Fleck, Scotch Plains-Fanwood
  • 113 lbs: Jaden Catalano, Woodbridge, beat Jeremy Lenart, Scotch Plains-Fanwood, 8-5
  • 120 lbs: Nino Natale, Scotch Plains-Fanwood, won by forfeit
  • 126 lbs: Matthew Fleck, Scotch Plains-Fanwood, won by forfeit
  • 132 lbs: Justin Sidebottom, Scotch Plains-Fanwood, beat Gilbert Hill Sosa, Woodbridge, 16-10
  • 138 lbs: Jack Quinn, Woodbridge, won a major decision over Jacob Perone, Scotch Plains-Fanwood, 12-4
