ATLANTIC CITY, NJ - Junior Sam Wustefeld continued his quest for a state wrestling championship at 182 lbs. on Saturday by pinning No. 1 seed Shane Sosinsky from Northern Highlands in the second overtime period. Sosinsky entered the match undefeated with a record 40-0.

"From the start of the match Sam was in the right mindset. He was focused and wrestled a compete match," said Coach Marc Fabiano. "From every position he was relentless and pushed his opponent to the limit. I was very impressed with his performance and excited to see him wrestle relentless again in the semifinals."

Wustefeld will next face Del Barton' s LJ Castellano, who has a 32-8 record and is the 5 seed.

"The constant work on offense, defense, physical conditioning, and reading our wrestlers is really paying off," Fabiano added.
