Dear Editor:

In recent times, finding a chance to relax has been challenging. People miss the activities they love and want to continue seeking comfort, relaxation, and stress relief.

MissionCleanWater a local nonprofit, working to bring clean drinking water and sanitation to underserved communities has created a unique opportunity to bring back some of your favorite activities. They have created The Art of Water silent art auction. It is an auction focused on relaxation and comfort giving away experiences in Scotch Plains and the Westfield area. Whether you seek comfort from going to a spa, a dining experience, training, or fun, there is an experience for everyone.

The Art of Water Silent Art Auction is open and people can bet on items up to Nov 27th. This could act as the perfect gift for you, a friend, or significant other. Has someone that loves a local restaurant? Explore a dining experience with Jessica’s Cafe! Looking for a relaxing spa experience? Check out what Everlasting Haven has to offer. Looking to get active? We have multiple trainers and therapists ready to help you.

MissionCleanWater is working with specific sponsors and local businesses that show exemplary behavior in disinfection and COVID-19 preparation. All experiences won can be redeemed at any time.

100% of the funds raised from this event will be going towards MissionCleanWater’s new project. Providing restrooms, showers, hand washing stations, and a menstrual health plan to an all-girls school in Uganda. St. Elizabeth’s all-girls school does not have enough restrooms for their 1,000 students affecting the health of their students and the quality of their education. This project, once completed will create a healthier and new environment at that school.
