Girls Basketball: McNulty and Johnson Spark Union Catholic to 3rd Straight Win

LINDEN, NJ -- The freshmen duo of  Erin McNulty and Madison Johnson combined for 32 points to lead the Union Catholic girls to a 44-21 victory over Linden on Thursday in Linden.

McNulty led the way for the Vikings with 17 points and Johnson scored 15.

It's the third straight victory for the Vikings as UC improved to 6-2 on the season and 4-0 on the road.

UC jumped out to a big lead with a 17-2 run in the first quarter and built a 29-5 lead at halftime.

The Vikings will be back in action on Saturday vs. Hillside when Union Catholic hosts a basketball reunion. The girls JV plays at 10:30 and the varsity game is scheduled for noon.
