SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ. -- Please join Union Catholic Principal Sister Percylee Hart, RSM, Administration, faculty, staff, and the UC student body for a unique and highly anticipated Open House on Wednesday, Oct. 7th at 7 p.m.
From academics and athletics to student support services and student life, this Open House will highlight why UC is the place be.
Because of crowd restrictions, there won't be an in-person Open House. But Union Catholic is offering two very exciting ways to attend.
Option 1: Drive-In
UC faculty, staff and students will be on hand to greet, meet and speak with you car-side, while wearing masks and following social distance guidelines. Our guests will enjoy watching a presentation on a movie screen that will give you an inside look into UC’s academic offerings, athletic programs, student life, and so much more.
Space is limited to the first 100 cars!
Option 2: Zoom
Join us from the comfort of your own home to hear all about what UC has to offer! Registration is mandatory for both options and can be done by following these links:
Mrs. Betsy Thornton, Union Catholic’s Director of Admissions is excited about UC's unique Open House.
"Union Catholic has never seen a challenge that we didn't take on, and this pandemic is no different,'' said Mrs. Thornton. "We choose forward, every time. "With that being said, while we are unable to invite our prospective families into our building at this time due to crowd restrictions, we are excited to give families two ways to attend the Fall Open House, either at our on campus Drive-In Movie presentation or via zoom. Either way, families will see for themselves why UC IS WHERE YOU WANT TO BE!''
Mrs. Thornton said the beauty of Union Catholic is that the school offers something for everyone.
"A student can find their niche at Union Catholic no matter what their interests are,'' said Mrs. Thornton. "Whether it's a sport, a club, performing arts or social justice, there really is something for everyone here at UC.''
The UC Community looks forward to welcoming you on campus!
