EDISON, NJ -- On the final day of school before Winter Break, the Middle School held its annual Teacher-for-a-Day program at The Wardlaw+Hartridge School in Edison. After enjoying community-building grade-level breakfasts, students took over the Middle School and taught lessons to their peers. Adult teachers were present with each student-teacher to support and assist as needed.

“Each year, I am so very impressed by the creativity and innovative thinking that students demonstrate when they teach a 30-minute lesson/workshop on a hobby, skill, or special talent,” said Dr. Corinna Crafton of Edison, Middle School Head.

The student-teachers offered a wide array of classes this year. The list included:
DIY Slime, Bey Blade Challenge, Public Speaking, Making Glitter Henna, Magic the Gathering Fantasy Game Tournament, Hip Hop Dance, Learn Japanese, Gymnastic Basics, Minecraft Workshop, Learn Hindi and Making Winter Crafts.
