After averaging 10 points per game over the course of his team’s three-game winning streak, Scotch Plains-Fanwood Boys Basketball’s Damon Schumann is this week’s Joint Motion Physical Therapy Athlete of the Week.

In three consecutive victories for the boys against Hillside, New Providence, and Roselle, Schumann posted 7, 17, and 6 points in each game respectively.

“Damon has been a big X factor for us this season with just his effort and energy off the bench, and then he is just that utility guy that ends up doing a little bit of everything for us,” Raiders head coach Steve Siracusa said. “The best quality I like about him is that he is a true competitor that goes out every night and plays his hardest and doesn't care who the opponent is.”
