SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -- Darby Road kicks off its 7th annual St. Patrick's Day Festival on Friday, March 15. The three-day celebration features Irish foods in the pub, an entertainment tent in the parking lot, and kids' activities on the hedge property between next to the Scotch Plains Municipal Building.
The tent opens Friday, March 15, at 6:00 p.m.
The featured performer will be local talent Billy Wilkins and his band from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m., followed by a DJ until 1:00 a.m.
On Saturday, March 16, the tent opens at Noon.
The day features pony rides, face-painting and other kids' activities
The Marie Moore Irish Sancers will perform between 1:00 and 2:00 p.m.
Raggle Taggle plays between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m.
Shea Jennings Irish Dancers perform between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m.
Blarney Session takes the stage from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
DJ, Pipers and Step Dancers perform between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m. with music going on throughout the night until the tent closes at 1:00 a.m.
On Sunday, March 17 (St. Patrick's Day), the tent opens at Noon
Festivities start with Raggle Taggle at 1:00 p.m.
Sons of Wexford play from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Children's activiities take place throughtout the day.
Irish Dancers perform 5:30 to 7:00 p.m., followed by a DJ and Irish music until the tent closes at 10:00 p.m.
