Youth Chess Club at the Scotch Plains Public Library

On Wednesday, February 14, Scotch Plains and Fanwood cardholders ages 7-16 are invited to participate in the library’s very popular chess club led by instructor Errol Singh. Each session begins promptly at 6 pm.

Pre-registration is required for the chess club and is limited to Scotch Plains and Fanwood cardholders.  Online registration for the February 14 session will open on Monday, February 5.

Two Kilos of Heroin Seized from Drug Trafficking Suspect on Route 22

UNION COUNTY, NJ – Two kilograms of heroin were seized from an Indianapolis man traveling through Union County last week on Route 22 in Union, according to the Union County Prosecutor’s Office.
