FANWOOD, NJ -- Fabio’s Bistro has organized a classic car show to support the food pantries at St. Bartholomew Church and Immaculate Heart of Mary Church on Sunday, August 2, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Fanwood train station (South Ave.)

St. Bartholomew and  Immaculate Heart of Mary (IHM) parishes in Scotch Plains have experienced a dramatic increase in usage of their food pantries since the coronavirus began.

Among the most needed items are canned fruits and vegetables, peanut butter, jelly, pasta sauce, tuna, mac & cheese, and coffee. Toiletries and feminine hygiene items are also accepted.

"This is a fun way that we can collect canned food and raise money (through classic car registration fees) for the local food pantries that are in need. We are appealing to the community to help us support the pantries and to feed those in need," said Greg Kowalczyk of Fabio's Bistro (217 South Ave, Fanwood, NJ).
