SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -- The Township of Scotch Plains will again host a Live Band Karaoke Night on Wednesday, July 31, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. in downtown Scotch Plains on the Alan Augustine Village Green (430 Park Ave).

Live Band Karaoke Night will feature the band U-Rock Live, and participants will get to be the “lead singer” for the band and sing songs live from a variety of genres and decades including the Swingin’ '60s, Groovy '70s, the Big '80s, the Grungy '90s, the 2000s and Beyond, plus "Karaoke Classics."

Choose your song, own the stage, and bring your cheering section for a rockin’ night in downtown. If you’re not a singer, just bring a blanket and a chair and enjoy the show. Be sure to stop by one of our downtown businesses for something to eat and drink before the show.

Live Band Karaoke Night is a free, family event that is open to people of all ages. To participate in Live Band Karaoke Night, just simply sign up to sing on July 31 before the event begins from 7:00 to 7:30 p.m., and you will be called on stage to join the band and sing your favorite song. A list of songs will be available at the event and all song choices will be family friendly.
