Join local teacher and writer Edie Scher for a series of memoir writing workshops for beginners.
Capture the memories you want to leave as a legacy for your family. Workshops will guide you through the process of writing, editing, and compiling your chapters in a supportive environment.
Space is limited and registration is required. Priority will be given to Scotch Plains and Fanwood cardholders who can commit to most sessions. Sessions will take place on October 2 & 16, November 6 & 20, December 4 & 18, January 8 & 22, and February 5 & 19.
Attendees should bring a notebook and pens/pencils.
Edie Scher is a writer and teacher of English, whose credits include national publications: The New York Times, Country Living Magazine, Cat Fancy Magazine, Runners World, Weight Watchers Magazine, McGraw Hill Literature Anthology, Cup of Comfort, (first prize story winner) Chicken Soup for the Soul, (four editions) and other Hearst Publications.
