FANWOOD, NJ -- Local officials attended Sunday's ribbon-cutting for the Fanwood Grille, the borough's newest restaurant at the site of the former Fanwood Corner Store on Martine Avenue.

The restaurant has been open for the last couple months to rave reviews. On hand were Mayor Colleen Mahr, Councilman Tom Kranz, The Greater Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce's Gene Jannotti and other supporters.

To celebrate, the Grille served $15 plates including roast pork, burgers or hotdogs with numerous side dishes to raise money for Jam Kancer in the Kan Foundation.
