SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -- Scotch Plains Mayor Al Smith and the members of the Township Council celebrated the reopening of our businesses on Wednesday, June 24, by distributing masks for employees and patrons of local small businesses.

Participants were Mayor Smith, Deputy Mayor Josh Losardo, Councilman Ted Spera, Councilwoman Elizabeth Stamler, Councilman Roc White, Township Manager Al Mirabella, and Downtown Redevelopment Coordinator Tom Strowe. Among the businesses that the officials visited were:

Nails, Able Body Spa, Alfonso’s Pizzeria, Alfredo’s Italian American Deli, Bearded Barber, Boris’ Barber Shop, Charlie Brown’s, Darby Road, Details Barber Shop, Diva’s Salon, Florence Ravioli, Grillestone, Guitar Repair Services, Hung’s Shanghai Restaurant, Jazzed Beauty Bar, Little Shop of Comics, Max’s Pizza and Bistro, Nancy’s Hair Studio, Park Beverage, Pizza Brothers, Salon De Sando, Salon Deore, Salon Four, Scoops, Scotch Hills Pharmacy, Scotch Plains Public Library, Scotchwood Diner, Stage House Tavern, Strut Your Cut, The Bike Stand, Trainor Family Chiropractic, Urban Shave, Vic’s Barber Shop, Victor’s Custom Tailors, Wallis Stationery, You Need Coffee/Chillin’ Out, and Z SPA.
