FANWOOD, NJ -- The rain held off and Fanwood’s annual Easter Egg Hunt attracted several hundred children and their adults on Saturday, April 13th, at Forest Road Park.

As in past years, volunteers from the Recreation Commission placed 2,000 eggs, some with prize tickets, around mini-fields designated for specific age groups. On cue, the children scrambled to fill baskets with eggs and it was all over in minutes. Then it was off to the prize table or to visit the Easter Bunny for a photo.

Kudo again go to Bob Budiansky, Recreation Department Director, the volunteers of the Recreation Commission, police officers of the Fanwood PBA for donating prizes and our Department of Public Works for their assistance in setting up the event.
