FANWOOD, NJ -- Mayor Colleen Mahr and members of the Borough Council hosted Fanwood's annual Holiday Party and Tree Lighting ceremony on Sunday, Dec. 8, under the big tent t at the North Avenue Train Station.

The star of the day was Santa Claus, who had children sit on his lap, listened to what they wanted for Christmas, and posed for pictures. The event featured music by The Moonglowers and a choir from Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School, as well as crafts run by Boy Scout Troop 104 and a local Girl Scout Troop.
