SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -- The Township of Scotch Plains will host its annual Independence Day Fireworks at the historic Scotch Hills Golf Course on Saturday, June 29 (rain date June 30th).

This year’s celebration will feature a performance by The Scotch Plainsmen, a talented group of musicians who have performed as the backup band for our own Pat DiNizio of the Smithereens during his solo performances.

The Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA will host a “Red, Y, and Blue” station with fun activities for kids. Food Vendors will be on site throughout the evening. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the premises.  Pre-fireworks activities begin at 7:30, so come out early and set down chairs and blankets.
