SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ -- The second installment of the "Cops & Kids" after school program proved popular with students at Park Middle School on Tuesday, April 4.

Officers from both the Fanwood and Scotch Plains police departments, along with several members of the Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School wrestling team, joined 5th through 8th graders for activities including "Hula Hut Dodgeball," and a modified version of volleyball from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.

"We've got about 40 kids here today, and they're all having fun. If the program continues to be popular, we can work with the Board of Ed to expand it," said Fanwood Chief Richard Trigo.
