UNION, NJ -- The weather’s been tough to bear the last few days, but it’s supposed to clear up just in time for Saturday’s Union County St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Saturday looks mostly sunny with a high of 44.
At noon, reviewing stand festivities will begin and the “Kid’s Zone” area will be open to all on Stuyvesant Ave. (at the intersection of Morris Ave.) in Union.
At 1:00 p.m. sharp, the parade begins with the marching units gathered on Morris Ave. and along Commerce and Jeanette Avenues. The parade route proceeds east along Morris to a turn at the main reviewing stand at Stuyvesant and ends at Roosevelt Ave.
The midway reviewing stand at Morris and Caldwell Avenues has parade announcers with details of all of the participants, history and other information.
