FANWOOD, NJ -- Fanwood Liquors (61 South Ave.) announced on Thursday that it will operate through the weekend and close temporarily on Monday, April 13.

Out of safety concerns for the community, customers, and employees, Fanwood Liquor is temporarily closing beginning Monday, April 13. The store will be open through the weekend, with the hope to reopen later this month. 

The store owners posted a sign on their windows.

Fanwood Mayor Colleen Mahr, who included the closure in her daily COVID enewsletter, told TAPintoSPF that she didn't have any further information and is reaching out to the owners to see what, if anything, she might be able to do to help get the store back up and running.
