Families Invited to Participate in Fall Festival at Watchung Reservation on Oct. 7

STEM Activities, BB Gun Shooting, Arts and Crafts Are All Part of the Upcoming Fall Festival

MOUNTAINSIDE, NJ -  Area families are invited to attend “Adventure Day,” a bi-annual interactive family festival (formerly called “Watchung Day”) taking place on Saturday, Oct. 7 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Watchung Reservation.

Last fall, the event attracted more than 100 local boys and girls along with their parents. Activities offered include: BB, archery, outdoor cooking, STEM fun, crafts, sports, field games, and more. Adventure Day will take place in the Scout Camping Area of Watchung Reservation. Parking is available at the Trailside Nature Center, 452 New Providence Rd, Mountainside.

Families are welcome to drop in at any time and stay as long as they wish. There is no cost for this free event but families are asked to RSVP at http://bit.ly/2whnNEq to ensure there are enough supplies available for all who attend.
